I know I said in my 101 in 1001 that I will try to blog once a week, but really there is nothing to talk about lately. I am boring. I am tired. I am pissy. And I'm sure no one wants to hear about that. So.
This is me half-assedly fulfilling my contractual obligation. :P
I promise a more interesting post next week.

#27...
...learning to work my camera.
And then, I was caught! I tried to quickly hide around the corner of the window but she'd seen me, and was giving me the eyebrows:
I messed about with the zoom feature today (oh so difficult, I know. I am no photographer, people. I barely know how to work those disposable cameras. Do they even make those anymore?)
I perfected my super-stealthy spy skillz, taking pics of my kids. I kicked their butts outside in the rain (hey it wasn't POURING rain), and spied on them from my bathroom window.
And then, I was caught! I tried to quickly hide around the corner of the window but she'd seen me, and was giving me the eyebrows:
So then of course the spy mission turned into a photo shoot and she posed for a minute.
They came in filthy, wet, and cold. They're bathing now, then lunch.
Rowen pictures later! He is sleeping, thank the heavens.

Welcome Back....
...your dreams were your ticket out..... (Oh no she DI'N'T!)
HI!!!!!!
So yeah I totally neglected my bloggy for a long long time. But now I'm back, and it's part of my 101 in 1001 to blog at least once a week, so there will be a bunch more of me here (hopefully!).
I'm pretty new to the thing, I just started my list today, but basically the 101 in 1001 is a list of 101 things you would like to do/make/have/accomplish in 1001 days (about 2.5 years). The things can be anything, big or small, but they have to be specific. And I need to read more about it, myself, but I figured what better a first-post-in-forever than my list so far?
101 In 1001:
1. Find a doable exercise regimen I *ENJOY* and stick to it.
2. Have a table at a craft fair or at the farmer's market in our town.
3. Get chickens (and/or other farm-ish, "useful" animals).
4. Make a quilt (tee-shirt quilts don't count!).
5. Learn to make sushi.
6. Go to a winery.
7. Get my driver's license!!!!!!
8. Meet some of my internet bff's in person.
9. Learn to knit (no, I don't know how! And technically I don't know how to crochet neither so...)
10. Learn to read patterns for crochet.
11. Try raw figs.
12. Teach Brenda cursive before June 2009 (more on that later).
13. Have a system set up to organize and store all of my towering, toppling craft supplies.
14. Learn to play the piano. And read music.
15. Absolutely NO drastic haircuts. For two years! This will be a hard one. Just trimming of split ends.
16. ***Secret***
17. Let my father know that he is not.
18. Spend more time with people I care about.
19. Try octopus.
20. Go strawberry picking.
21. Make a bookshelf dollhouse with Brenda.
22. Start composting for our garden.
23. Get to 145 lbs. (Currently at 158 lbs. Yeah, I said it out loud. It's not far, it's do-able, but still technically "overweight". Whatever.)
24. Use my day-planner. Keep it in my purse or by the coffee pot. Open to the right day.
25. Track my period.
26. Use our never-used Rosetta Stone software (or whatever brand it is) to learn Spanish. At least the important stuff.
27. Learn to work my camera (perhaps find some sort of written instruction?).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So that's what I have so far. I have a long way to go, but I did only start today. So.
Kids' news soon. I promise. I have to blog once a week for 2 1/2 years now, remember?
